Turning 26 is UB.com pro Tiffany Michelle who heats up the street of Las Vegas of Friday with some dinner and dancing at Crystals.  Michelle celebrated her day together with Team Ultimate Bet codes pros Liv Boeree and Adam “Roothius” Levy, joining the party was actress Samantha Ryan, Trishelle Cannatella, Maria Beso and Jeff Madsen.

As posted by Michelle on Twitter, “Now one of my fav restaurants is in Los Angeles AND Vegas…” the night was filled with exciting dance moves and a lot of stuffs together with Michelle and her subordinates.  Although Michelle wasn’t so lucky in World Series of Poker this season, still she finds time for enjoyment.

During the Event # 16: $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em, Amit Makhija joined the table and happen to get the biggest stacks in the event. Getting a little nap from the tournament he sat down with PokerNews to talk about the hand.

Makhija was asked about his strategy during the game, and his answer was, “I had been playing on the tight side. I had just won a coin flip and was up to 26,000 to start the hand. I was feeling good. I was playing tight, but every pot I played seemed to be a big pot.”

An excerpt from his statement about the  hand, he said that, “So the opponent in this hand had not been opening very often, he’d been pretty tight, but when he did open, he had a lot of suited hands in his range.”

At the end of the day, he was able to get 90,000 chips. In line with the conversation, Makhija also cited to PokerNews that the hand was also prior to the newest edition of Calling the Clock.

The fourth day of the PokerStars.net European Tour Berlin was really considered to be an unusual day for the poker world. With the return of the usual poker life after that day four event, Kevin MacPhee was given his first EPT Title. The day was started by MacPhee with a lead however he still needed to fight against the field with 945 other poker players with the final table against international rising stars in order to secure his winnings.

MacPhee is only at the age of 29 and came from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho was one card away from the elimination but he managed to stay in the game. From that point, he dominated the tournament ending the third day with the most number of chips. It was the very position MacPhee never wish to give up. He continued his reign to the final table showing off his skills to defeat a tough heads-up match with Finnish pro Ilari Tahkokallio.

For two hours at the final table, the action was non-stop. After one week of finishing third place in the PokerStars Sunday Million, Nico Behling again found himself playing at the final table. The German pro was at second place last year in the EPT Warsaw.

After the two days play in Tunica, World Series of Poker Circuit championship event had come to the final table with Paul Wasicka with leading chips of more than 400,000. Out of 96 players that joined only nine players remained and will continue and have the chance for the six-figure payday for the summit $135,000.

Paul Wasicka was known from the time he started in the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event and finished as a runner-up. Furthermore, his NBC Heads-Up Championship win in 2007 boost his popularity. The Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker classic has earned another winner. Daniel Christopher Alaei grabbed the coveted seat surviving the rigid battle against 328 players. He won an enormous prize of $1.4 million on the said event.

Winning the Triple Crown is the most coveted spot in poker. And as of today, only two people got all the prestigious events in their hands. One lucky guy is Roland De Wolfe who just got his last leg of the crown when he won the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha 8 bracelet at the 2009 WSOP. Winning the Triple Crown means getting to triumph in 3 events and that would be from the World Poker Tour (WPT), European Poker Tour (EPT) and the World Series of Poker (WSOP). De Wolfe even wears a Union Jack track-suit on his final table during the event, showing that his proud to be an Englishman.

The first poker pro who won the Triple Crown was Gavin Griffin. He won in $3,000 Pot Limit Hold ‘Em in 2004 to gain his WSOP bracelet; he gained the EPT Grand Final Title in 2007 and he won the WPT Borgata Classic in 2008.

Professional poker players recognized talent when they see it. And if they have to pick out a player from a table then they would choose no other than Phil Ivey. Even though the general population doesn’t see Ivey on big tourneys.

He already have 8 Final Tables in the World Poker Tournament events and garnered one win. He also owned 6 WSOP bracelets though none of it are from Texas Hold ‘Em given that this poker game is the only one you can see in TV.
