After the announcement of the cancellation of the 2010 Aruba Poker Classic, UB poker made it clear that they are creating million dollar events in lieu of the aforementioned tournament. They made it clear that they are greatly saddened by the turn of events, thus as an acknowledgement to all support UB poker is getting for all these years, several events like tournaments are imminent in its place.

For instance, UB.com is ready to develop a $500k monthly guaranteed tournament with the hope of turning it into a million-dollar event, making bigger their UBOC series to twice year - perhaps to emulate SCOOP and Full Tilt’s FTOPS and creating more pro-related competitions.

Dates were not precise as to when the next UBOC series will run, but it will most likely fall between the WCOOP and one of the later FTOPS series.
