Before someone experiences a full blown tilt there are other levels he must go through. Tilt starts off as a harmless feeling, where in a person feels slightly distracted in the game due to personal problems, a bad hand and many more. This is the first stage of tilt, in which a player can still play the game at his best.

Innocent as it seems, Stage 1 is the only bridge that one can gain to go through the second stage of Tilt. But when you know that you are experiencing symptoms of the first stage its better to stop playing early on until you settle the issue.

If you can still stop at the first stage, you cannot if you reach the second stage. This is the level wherein you’re playing wildly, careless and recklessly. You played bluffs which are not good, you all in a card with no odds on your favor, you bet like a wild horse on poor hands and on and on. You’re feeling unstable emotions at this stage including rejection, anger, frustration, steam and hopelessness. This is the worst cycle you can get through.

It will be unlucky for you if you can’t get away from this stage. You know you need to stop but you can’t. And this will lead into the last and worst stage – Life Tilt. At this stage, you’re not seeing normally anymore. You play with your emotions, with no logic at all. This is the stage that you’re savings is in danger of getting lost.

How to Fix Tilt. We all know that we are not numb not to feel a little bit of emotion. So what can you do stop yourself to play tilt? Recognize the symptoms early on and settle it out. Study these symptoms and familiarize yourself with it. Remember to do this on the first stage.

You can also prevent tilt by not bringing a lot of money with you. Bringing a lot of money can give you a chance to play to destruction.

We can not avoid bad cards and bad beats so what’s the best thing that you should do? Deal with it. If you are easily angered by this concurrence better to stop playing until you become calm. Don’t put blame to anyone even to yourself. Just stop playing and settle your emotions properly.

Its not good to play against a large number of good players. But it is better to play an infrequent bad beat.
