Usually when your the first player to act or your under the gun and you have a pocket of Aces in your hands then you must limp. This is because raising this kind of hole will just raise the suspicion of your opponents that you have a strong hand. In order to deceive them, just limp and just wait for someone to raise their bet.

If one player raise their bet and its your time to act, re-raise the bet and you’ll easily take all the money in the pot before flop if the hand of the other player is lower than yours, for example, a pair of Queens.

But what is there are 2 or more players who called after you limp with a pocket of Aces?

To save your money you need to follow these: If you’re still the one who’s to act first start it out with a decent pot sized bet. When a number of players called, 2 or more, its time for you to fold. You need to do this because at this moment you’re Aces are worthless against your opponents cards.

When the first three community cards bring ragged then its time to fold your precious pocket even though its really hard to do that. Don’t hesitate to do this, you don’t have much to lose because you only invested a decent bet.

In this case the probability that another player got a very good set post-flop is very huge. So there’s no need for you to invest more and only lose at the end.

And if you think the other players’ only waiting for the right draw for their open ended hand, you still don’t have the chance to win a hand.

When you encounter this kind of situation while you play remember that there are other hand worth to invest with. Just be patient.
