Blaming on the game is one of the worst mistakes a person can do in poker. This mistake is often associated with poker players who are new to the game. This is because when these new players got the basic poker knowledge, as they become aware of the mistakes they made and as well as their opponents bad plays they conclude that luck is the one stopping them to win a hand.

The blame game is simply passing the blame to anyone at your vicinity when the hand don’t go your way. Only a number of people can accept that they have their own faults.

What you will usually encounter in poker would be people who will think about the realms of being lucky and unlucky. They will think about how lucky their opponents are and how unfortunate they are for not winning their desired pot, they also blame the place and even the tables for the things contribution in their bad luck.

Only a few players are willing to admit that somewhere in the game they made a mistake, that maybe they give a not so discreet bluff, folding their pair of aces in a bluff and even didn’t consider the rivals game play into account. Lots of players wanted to blame someone for all the bad things that are happening to them during a game. They are not willing to place the blame into their own shoulders. They are busy casting blame to anyone their eyes can reach and not to look into their selves.

Playing poker is discovering one’s self but if your rivals know your game as much as you do then you are in great trouble. Analyzing your own play comes in the routine of being a poker player as much as evaluating your opponent. If there is something wrong, don’t quickly blame anyone including the winner of the hand you just played. Think of all possible causes including the possibility of a mistake you made.

If you have already evaluate all the possibilities, and nothing seems wrong then maybe luck has something to do with it.

If you mastered this feat it will surely develop your game play and of course will make a good decoy for you to remain calm in times of bad beats. Always think about that staying calm is one of the best assets of a poker player and by examining how the game end up like it is will take your mind off anything that will distract you from the game.

Its better for you to evaluate all facts and to identify who’s at fault before casting blame on anyone else. You might be surprised if it turned out that you have made almost all the mistake that made you lose the game.
