Roland De Wolfe: The Second Man Who Won the Poker Triple Crown

And as of today, only two people got all the prestigious events in their hands. One lucky guy is Roland De Wolfe who just got his last leg of the crown when he won the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha 8 bracelet at the 2009 WSOP. Winning the Triple Crown means getting to triumph in 3 events and that would be from the World Poker Tour (WPT), European Poker Tour (EPT) and the World Series of Poker (WSOP). De Wolfe even wears a Union Jack track-suit on his final table during the event, showing that his proud to be an Englishman.
The first poker pro who won the Triple Crown was Gavin Griffin. He won in $3,000 Pot Limit Hold ‘Em in 2004 to gain his WSOP bracelet; he gained the EPT Grand Final Title in 2007 and he won the WPT Borgata Classic in 2008.
